Last Fall, Innovative Outdoors LLC started a landscape project in Skyline Drive. We were able to complete the grading, drainage piping, and install a few courses of both walls before it became too cold to work over the winter. Then, when the weather became more favorable this Spring, we came back to this job and were able to finish up.

This job had a roughly 40 year old retaining wall that was failing in many places. We came in and tore out the existing wall, graded the area, installed more efficient drainage, and then were able to install a more functional and aesthetically-pleasing wall. Had we not fixed the retaining wall issue, the foundation of the house could’ve become severely damaged and erosion would’ve became a serious problem with the steep hill behind the house. Luckily, the homeowners knew that the wall needed to be replaced and we could complete the project.

The flagstone path between both walls turned out awesome. It’s pretty rare to see a pathway in between and also on top of one of the walls, but it adds a functional aspect to the structure. The rock at the base and in between the walls also gives the structure a very natural look. Please reach out to us today for a free estimate, we would love to install something like this on your property!
